The vast and beautiful thatched roof of the house keeps you cool in the hotter months. There is a large sitting/dining area with shared khonde, bbq, swimming pool and a small sun house with a hammock to soak in the fantastic views.
We also provide Free WIFI, enabling you to stay in contact with loved ones (or your office).
Our local staff live on site to cook, clean and cater to your every need.
Local activities are also offered, but must be pre-booked.

Besides kicking back and relaxing in this beautiful setting, we are delighted to be able to share with you some of Thuma’s wonders.
At Thuma House you can relax at the swimming pool, or go on exciting guided nature trails made specially to meet your needs (1 hour up to 3 hours), bird watching is a must, picnic along Linthipe River, soak in natural freshwater rock pools (seasonal), visit the ruins of the old Hospital or the rock painting (longer hike for anyone who is physically fit) or end the day with a sundowner at Lake View.
An armed ranger will accompany you on all of these activities.
