We are a Malawian non-profit conservation NGO working to protect and restore Thuma and Dedza-Salima Escarpment Forest Reserves.
We focus on the natural environment and wildlife for the social and economic benefit of local people, as well as supporting Earth’s biodiversity.

Habitat & Wildlife Protection
WAG rangers protect the forest and its wildlife which is crucial for the health and wellbeing of our planet.
Education Outreach
We impart knowledge to shape the mindset of children so they become responsible citizens engaged and informed on wildlife conservation and the natural environment.
Community Development
Our approach to community development helps protect nature and provide economic, environmental and social benefits.
Research and Development
Our research projects aim to document the reserves' biodiversity, develop effective management strategies and improve wildlife monitoring.
Human Wildlife Coexistence
We use human-elephant conflict mitigation tactics to promote sustainable coexistence between wildlife and the local people.
Management & Infrastructure
Our approach to development is being carefully implemented to ensure minimal impact on the environment and wildlife but maximum impact on our work output and the security of our staff.
