Sponsor a Ranger
Wildlife Action Group's Sponsor a Ranger Programme enables individuals, families, friend groups and organisations around the world to sponsor the salary of a ranger.
You can become a ranger sponsor for a 12-month period by paying a one-off donation or by giving monthly. Your donation will not only ensure continued protection for the forest and wildlife but also provides for the ranger's family, enables his children to go to school, and puts food on their table.
An average ranger salary is €1,600 ($2,500) per year, that works out at €134 ($208) per month. When you sponsor a ranger, you will receive letters and photos from him. You're always welcome to visit us at Thuma and if you decide to, your sponsored ranger will be happy to escort you on hikes and bring you to meet his family.
