Wildlife Ranger Challenge

Tourism revenue across Africa has come to a sudden and dramatic halt due to COVID-19. This means funding for African Wildlife and Conservation has decreased significantly.

Wildlife Rangers accross Africa are coming together to take part in the Wildlife Ranger Challenge, a race to raise money to for African wildlife such as elephants, pangolins, rhinos, and lions.

On the 3rd of October 2020, a team of four Wildlife Action Group
rangers will join 46 other rangers teams from across Africa to compete against each other in the Wildlife Ranger Challenge.

This gruelling 21km race is run with a 25kg patrol backpack, that’s MORE than the weight of a suitcase you are allowed to put in the hold of an aeroplane.

Please help us by donating, or you can even join the challenge by donating and running 5, 10 or 21 km virtually with your friends, supporting more than 200 African Wildlife Rangers!
